About Luis

I hold a TEFL advanced teaching certification with advanced Business English training, and a degree in Business & Finance from the University of Michigan. I’ve taught thousands of hours of private lessons for several companies, led advanced business English programs, and coached students preparing for real interviews and high-level meetings. My teaching style is based on real practical professional needs and I create my own custom materials for each individual student. Every lesson is customized for your goals and built around what will help you succeed at work. These are some of the advanced topics we can work on together: • Business English communication for meetings, emails, interviews, and daily work • Job interview coaching for roles in tech, finance, and international companies • Fluency training to stop hesitation, increase flow, and speak with confidence • Pronunciation and rhythm correction to sound more natural and easier to understand • Real-world business conversations based on today’s top global topics: • Finance, investing, stock markets, trading, and fintech • Analyzing financial statements and explaining numbers with clarity • Tech trends, AI, startups, digital transformation, and innovation • Marketing, branding, buyer psychology, social media, content strategy • Global events, politics, economics, geopolitics, and macro trends • Leadership, emotional intelligence, and communication in teams • Starting a business, pitching ideas, negotiations, and building authority in English Lessons are always customized to your needs and I’ll challenge you to speak the way you truly want to using better vocabulary, clearer structure, and more precise pronunciation.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Luis Robert. I’m a native English speaker from the U.S. with 12 years of experience teaching professionals how to speak English fluently, clearly, and confidently in real-life work situations.

I work with students who need to improve how they speak English, especially in business and work environments. That means interviews, meetings, presentations, team calls, and international work communication.

My background is in Business and Finance, and I’ve taught over 15,000 lessons to professionals across tech, investing, marketing, healthcare, science. My students are startup founders, executives, remote workers, and job-seekers preparing for roles in the U.S., Europe, and international markets.

My goal is to help you speak with more clarity, sound more natural, and feel confident expressing complex ideas in English without hesitation, without overthinking, and without having to memorize anything.

Outside of teaching, I’m also an entrepreneur and love dance, art, traveling, reading and coffee. I’ve lived in several countries and understand what it means to work across cultures and how much communication affects leadership, networking, and opportunity.
