About Emily
I'm a First-Class Economics graduate from UCL and former top IB student (44/45), and an MPhil Economics graduate from the University of Cambridge. Economics is my passion, and I love breaking down tricky concepts into simple, engaging steps that make sense in the real world. Having tutored IB and GCSE students for several years, I tailor each lesson to the student's learning style. Teaching is incredibly rewarding: I enjoy seeing students grow in both ability and confidence, and I'm committed to helping them reach their full potential.

I'm an MPhil Economics graduate from the University of Cambridge and a First-Class Economics graduate from UCL, and I tutor Economics online for GCSE, IGCSE, IB and A-Level students, as well as university students who want support with micro, macro and econometrics. Lessons are one hour long and built around your syllabus and exam board. I explain the core theory clearly with real-world examples and diagrams, then focus on exam technique: structuring essays, evaluation, data-response questions and hitting the mark scheme. I set targeted practice between sessions and give detailed feedback on written answers, so students build both understanding and confidence. Whether you're aiming for a 7 in IB, an A* at A-Level or a First at university, I'll tailor each lesson to help you get there.
