I have been a classroom teacher, assistant principal, exceptional education and behavior teacher for 29 years! I am experienced and maybe old, but not boring. And I am smart- I have my doctorate.
I use an Orton Gillingham style program for literacy struggles and can find the knowledge missed and catch any student up! It is literacy treasure hunting! Let’s go!
I combine a little fun with reading ‘AhHa! Moments’, and that builds confidence as well as knowledge. Students can’t believe they are learning so fast!
