About Anna
With real-world experience as a researcher and entrepreneur, and years of teaching experience as a college teaching assistant and now as a public high school teacher, I enjoy pairing the real world together with mathematics and showing anyone, from future car mechanics and beauty technicians to future engineers, how math presents itself in the everyday world. My primary strength in teaching math is making it easy to understand for anyone. With a robust understanding of higher levels of math and a creative mind, I find multiple ways to teach any topic. Whether your goal is to just get by, or to excel into higher levels of math such as calculus, I am ready for any student!

As a tutor, I strive to explain difficult mathematical concepts in the easiest way possible. If one method doesn't work for you, we will learn another!
As a public high school teacher, I have consistently had a pass rate of 90% and students enjoy coming to class, even if they don't love math. I have taught all levels of Algebra to students ages 14+ and love getting to know students of all backgrounds and skill levels, and showing how math is relevant in our everyday lives.
From students who struggle with the most basic Algebra concepts, to the students who are learning a new topic every week, I am ready to help any student learn the wonderful world of math!
