About Max

My name is Max Botha.

I am from Cape Town South Africa and love food, friends, family, hiking, writing and music. I am looking forward to hearing about you and your interests and will make sure to incorporate them into our lessons together.

My experiences as an entrepreneur and business owner pushed me in the direction of teaching. Through years of nurturing people through my business I realised that I had a real passion for teaching and giving knowledge to other people.

About the lesson

In our first lesson we will look at what we are wishing to achieve together. I will explain who I am and what my teaching approach entails. With all the necessary information I will create a teaching curriculum personalised for you – a curriculum that suits your personality and learning style. The teaching plan will include lessons, assessments, learning materials and place markers for your progress. You can expect articles, inserts, videos, poetry, role-play, homework, cultural information or materials, world affairs, history, views from industry experts and stimulating assessments to boost your development as an English language learner or an individual looking for a deeper sense of purpose in business or life.

As a teacher I am attentive, helpful, calm, caring and patient. Driven by what I do, you can also expect a lively and resourceful approach from my end. We will work hard but we will have a lot of fun too.
