About Angelica

Hi, I'm Ms. Venegas! I'm so glad you're here! I'm a certified K–6 teacher with a degree in Leadership, Learning, and Innovation. During the school year, I teach first grade in Florida, and in the summer, I offer fun and focused online tutoring to help students stay sharp, build confidence, and feel ready for the next grade. In our sessions, you'll get one-on-one support in reading, math, science, and more. I make learning feel exciting with games, visuals, and creative activities—right from your computer! Every lesson is built just for you and your goals, so we can grow your skills at your pace. Whether you need help catching up, want to get ahead, or just love to learn, I’m here to cheer you on and make learning something you look forward to. About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is rooted in creativity, patience, and building genuine connections with my students. I believe that all children are capable of growth when they feel seen, supported, and engaged. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, using interactive, hands-on strategies that make learning fun and meaningful—especially for younger learners who thrive on movement, visuals, and real-world connections.

A typical lesson includes a quick warm-up to activate prior knowledge, a clear objective for the day, guided practice with modeling, and an independent activity to reinforce the skill. I always end with reflection or a quick game to keep things light and encouraging. Whether we're working on phonics, building number sense, diving into science exploration, or practicing social-emotional skills, I ensure the learning feels connected to their world.

What sets me apart is my background in Leadership, Learning, and Innovation, which drives me to think outside the box and continuously adapt to meet each child’s needs. My experience teaching all core subjects in a first-grade classroom has also given me a strong foundation in classroom management, early literacy development, and differentiated instruction.

My lessons are ideal for students in grades K–6 who need support in reading, math, science, or social-emotional learning. I especially enjoy helping children build confidence in their learning journey and reminding them that progress matters more than perfection.
