About Ivy
My interest in chemistry started with a curiosity about how substances react and change. This passion led me to complete a PhD in Chemistry, where I gained deep knowledge of chemical processes and research methods. Over the past 11 years, I have taught students at different levels, helping them understand chemistry in a simple and effective way. Teaching has allowed me to make complex ideas accessible to all learners.
My teaching approach is based on clarity, patience, and support. I break down difficult topics into simple steps so students can understand them easily. I use examples, diagrams, and practice exercises to make lessons engaging and effective. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently, which helps them build confidence.
Outside teaching, I continue to explore new developments in chemistry. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and understanding. My goal is to help every learner feel comfortable and capable in chemistry.

My chemistry lessons focus on making complex ideas simple and easy to understand. I begin with basic concepts such as atoms, molecules, and bonding, explaining each idea step by step. I create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced topics like chemical reactions, equations, and organic chemistry. I guide them through problem-solving techniques, helping them understand how to balance equations and apply formulas correctly. Practice is included in every lesson to improve accuracy and confidence. I also explain mistakes carefully so students can learn from them and improve their understanding. Each lesson is structured to build strong foundations and reduce confusion.
Chemistry helps students develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Many learners start to enjoy the subject as they gain clarity. My goal is to make chemistry simple, engaging, and easy to understand so students can perform well and feel confident in their abilities.
