About Brynn

I am a dedicated chemistry tutor with more than 3 years of teaching experience and a postgraduate MSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry. My teaching journey has been centered around helping students build deep confidence in analytical techniques, experimental skills, and scientific reasoning. I specialize in teaching chromatography, spectroscopy, titrations, and instrumental chemistry for undergraduate and college learners. Students learn how to analyze chromatographic peaks, read retention times, and link separation theory to molecular behavior. I also enjoy guiding students through spectroscopy interpretation, teaching them how to understand IR absorption, NMR splitting patterns, and UV–Vis transitions. When working with titrations, I emphasize accuracy, equipment handling, endpoint judgment, and error analysis. Alongside technique training, I support students in experimental design, teaching them how to develop hypotheses, select reagents, choose controls, and construct clear procedural steps. Data interpretation is another major part of my teaching style; students learn to process results, calculate concentrations, identify uncertainty, and evaluate outcomes. I also help future quality assurance professionals understand validation, documentation, and the importance of method reliability. I have worked with lab students, final-year chemistry students, and individuals aiming for research careers in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Teaching analytical chemistry allows me to watch students grow from unsure beginners into confident thinkers who enjoy the structure of measurement and observation. Sharing the joy of precise analytical work is my favorite part of tutoring, and I love helping students discover the beauty within every spectrum, peak, and titration curve.

The teaching approach focuses on helping students understand chemistry at a deep, analytical level. Lessons cover biochemistry, macromolecules including proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids, as well as metabolic pathways and enzyme kinetics. Structured case studies are incorporated to apply theory to real biological systems, making concepts tangible. Students learn to analyze chemical reactions, evaluate metabolic sequences, and understand enzyme behavior. Detailed explanations break complex pathways into manageable steps. Practical examples from zoology and botany provide context for learners studying life sciences. Learners are guided to make connections between molecular structures and physiological functions. Analytical review sessions help identify gaps in understanding and strengthen problem-solving skills. Discussions encourage questioning and reasoning, fostering critical thinking. Students are supported to excel academically through targeted exercises and personalized feedback. Lessons build confidence in interpreting biochemical data and applying chemical principles to biological processes. By combining theory, case studies, and review, learners refine their understanding of life's chemical processes. The ultimate goal is to make biochemistry approachable, relevant, and rewarding, helping students achieve academic excellence.
