About Eira

I have 8 years of experience teaching Chemistry to students preparing for exams, science pathways, and university-level understanding. I earned a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences, which provided strong grounding in both theoretical chemistry and practical analytical skills. This academic background allows me to teach chemistry with clarity and real-world relevance.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and focused on building deep understanding instead of rote memorisation. I enjoy helping learners break down challenging topics into simple, connected ideas that make chemistry feel approachable. I create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving steadily.

Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with chemistry through scientific reading, interest in industrial applications, and exploration of modern chemical research. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because students often shift from confusion to confidence. Supporting that transformation motivates my work deeply.

About the lesson

Chemistry becomes much easier when students see it as the science of transformation rather than a collection of formulae to memorise. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, acids and bases, equilibrium, and reaction kinetics using clear explanation and practical problem-solving. I focus on helping students connect concepts, so chemical processes feel logical and understandable. Each session builds confidence through step-by-step learning.

Lessons are designed to match student level. Beginners develop strong foundations in the periodic table, simple reactions, and chemical language. Intermediate learners strengthen balancing equations, mole calculations, titration understanding, and laboratory reasoning. Advanced students refine equilibrium analysis, thermodynamics basics, organic chemistry patterns, and exam-style application questions. Practice and feedback are included in every lesson.

Chemistry lessons help students develop stronger scientific reasoning and accuracy. Over time, learners become more confident in tackling complex calculations and explanations. My goal is to support students in mastering chemistry as both an academic subject and a powerful way of understanding the material world.
