About Alyssa
With an MPhil in Chemistry and years of teaching experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students see Chemistry rather than fear it. My Chemistry lessons are designed to ignite curiosity about how matter transforms and interacts. We start with the atomic and molecular foundation—understanding how elements combine to shape everything we see, touch, and use. From there, we explore organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry through interactive learning. Each lesson blends visualisation and reasoning. I use diagrams, reaction animations, and virtual simulations to help students visualise atomic behaviour. Real-world examples—like cooking, environmental chemistry, and material science—make abstract ideas instantly relevant. I place a strong emphasis on conceptual clarity. Rather than memorising reaction pathways, students learn to predict outcomes using logic and principles. This gives them the ability to approach any problem with confidence and reasoning. By the end, learners develop a holistic view of Chemistry—seeing it not as isolated equations, but as the science that explains art, medicine, nature, and innovation in the modern world.
