About Vivian

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 9 years of experience and a BSc in Chemistry and Nanoscience. My passion lies in helping students grasp the beauty of bio-organic chemistry and the chemical logic behind biological systems. I guide learners in understanding how reaction mechanisms explain the complexity of biochemical pathways and molecular interactions.
Enzyme catalysis is one of my favorite topics to teach, as it reveals nature’s incredible precision and efficiency. I also explore the synthesis of biologically active molecules, bridging theory with practical applications in medicinal chemistry. My lessons are designed to make these concepts clear, intuitive, and relevant.
I’ve had the privilege of guiding many future biochemists and medicinal chemists, supporting them in mastering both foundational principles and advanced applications. My teaching blends detailed explanations with problem-solving and visual aids to make learning engaging and effective. I focus on building not just knowledge, but also scientific thinking and curiosity.
