About Mayssene

I offer serious, well-structured, and personalised cinema tutoring, tailored to each student’s objectives. My lessons combine clear explanations, close film analysis, and practical guidance, helping students build strong analytical skills, improve academic work, or develop creative ideas with confidence.

I am a Film Studies student at King’s College London, with a solid academic background in cinema, film theory, and critical writing. I work in a professional, organised, and supportive way, ensuring each session is focused, engaging, and productive.

Lessons last 50 minutes to 1 hour and are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, A-level students, early university students, and film enthusiasts. No prior experience is required—only interest and motivation.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is clear, interactive, and adapted to each student’s goals. Lessons combine film analysis, discussion, and practical exercises, such as breaking down scenes, understanding film language, structuring essays, or organising ideas for a script.

Lessons usually last 50 minutes to 1 hour. I am a Film Studies student at King’s College London, with strong academic training in cinema and film analysis.

My classes are for film lovers, beginners, and intermediate students, including secondary school, A-level, and early university learners, as well as anyone interested in cinema, film culture, or scriptwriting. No prior experience is required.
