About Gracie
Hi! I’m Gracie, and I hold a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from Auburn University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in psychology, human development, social sciences, communication, and interpersonal relationships. I am especially passionate about helping students understand concepts related to psychology, social skills, nonverbal communication, and human behavior. I became interested in tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand material that may not come naturally to them. As someone who has always valued education, I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through difficult concepts, and building confidence in their abilities. With my background in clinical mental health counseling, I bring both academic knowledge and an understanding of how different learning styles, communication patterns, and individual strengths can influence the learning process. I strive to make lessons engaging, clear, and tailored to each student’s needs. My teaching approach is student-centered, focused on identifying individual learning styles and adapting my methods accordingly. What sets me apart is my ability to create a supportive, judgment-free learning environment that empowers students to take ownership of their education. I build strong rapport, personalize instruction, and offer consistent encouragement, which helps students feel more confident and motivated to succeed.
My tutoring sessions are ideal for high school and college students, particularly those studying psychology, counseling, or general education subjects.
