About Mufunwa
Hi! I’m Mufunwa, hopefully your future tutor. I am a graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand and decided to continue my studies in the law field, so I can be your future lawyer too. I did a double major in Anthropology and African languages, some courses included Philosophy and Sociology which were all writing intensive courses.
Being a student myself, I also need some guidance and assistance from someone with more knowledge than me when it comes to my academics, I would like to be the same for you and assist with your academics. My best marks in high school were History and English which are also writing intensive subjects so I’m the person you need for that essay. I have the younger siblings, one in high school and the other in primary and that has made me familiar with both phases tutoring. I enjoy reading self-improvement books and one of my favourite reads are The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Atomic Habits by James Clear. Other hobbies of mine include voluntary work and cooking. I’d love to learn about yours too we embark this journey of learning English.

Let’s make writing in English fun, easy and understandable. My lessons will include and focus on practical methods of understanding how to write academic essays, how to read well, grammar and pronunciation. I mainly focus on but not limited to learning and building skills that assist with structuring your essays, drafting, and proofreading final essays. My lessons are for primary, secondary and undergraduate students that need help with those 400-2000 word count essays.
