About Madison
I am just a girl that loves to explain my passions and interests to others. I truly believe that science should be accessible to everyone and I have worked my entire life to make this possible. I have tutored students of all ages in official and unofficial capacities, including community education seminars and guest lectures through local school districts. I have a bachelor's degree in Micro and Molecular Biology and spent my years in university focusing on public scientific communication, learning to cut out the jargon and meet people where they are, no intimidation required. Learning should be a conversation, not a strict lesson plan. My dream is to show students that learning is possible and fun no matter who you are and how hopeless things may seem.

I think the most important place to start is to build a solid foundation. If you don't have a safe place to ask questions then how can you expect yourself to succeed? Lesson plans will be determined by where students are when they begin and where they want to be by the end, there's no exact path to success and learning. I am happy to talk about biology and life science with anyone from elementary or middle school up until you start to reach more specialized college courses. General chem or bio are fair game!
