I hold a master’s degree in International and Comparative Education from Columbia University and have worked with diverse learners across different cultural and professional contexts.

My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s goals, whether you are building everyday communication skills, preparing for exams, or advancing professionally. I draw on over 14 years of experience in education and training, as well as a background in inclusive and culturally responsive teaching, to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
I use a communicative approach to language learning, which means lessons focus on real-life use of English through speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I incorporate practical activities such as conversations, role plays, and problem-solving tasks to help you build confidence and fluency. I also integrate grammar and vocabulary in context so you can apply what you learn immediately.
A typical lesson begins with a short review and warm-up activity, followed by targeted practice based on your goals (for example: conversation skills, pronunciation, grammar, or writing). We then move into interactive exercises, and end with feedback, reflection, and a clear plan for next steps. I provide constructive, encouraging feedback throughout to help you improve steadily.
What sets me apart is my ability to adapt lessons to diverse learners, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, as well as professionals and adult learners. My experience in international education and human rights work allows me to connect with students from different backgrounds and create lessons that are relevant, respectful, and empowering.
