About Georgina
As someone who has lost enjoyment of their favourite subject because of school, I want to help young people preserve that interest by making learning more fun that it is in the classroom. I want to know what makes you interested in learning, and if you find something boring, then we'll work together to find something you like about the subject.

At Primary School level I like to focus on getting the student interested in the subject. I do that through learning what hobbies they have and building lessons about creative writing, comprehension, and spelling around it. I am also more than happy to work with SEN children who need a little extra patience and care to get them to the level they can be at. I have experience with working with children from my time volunteering with Beavers in the Scouting Association. I also work for Club Excel, which is a holiday camp for children, running theatre workshops and arts and crafts for ages 4-10. Typical lesson length would be anywhere from half an hour to two hours, with the longer lessons having short breaks when the student wants them, to ensure they stay focussed and happy with what they're learning. I'm willing to provide the first lesson at a discounted rate, to ensure that you find the right tutor.
