About Kayleana
Hello, I’m Kayleana a lifelong lover of words, learning, and helping students believe in themselves. I’ve worked professionally with children for over six years, which has strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to teach in a way that feels encouraging rather than overwhelming. I’ve supported many students in writing, reading, essay organization, and confidence-building, and I always meet each child at their unique academic and emotional level. I graduated in May 2024 with a degree in Business Management and a certification in administration. While I absolutely love teaching writing and watching students grow creatively, I also have a passion for business, marketing, and entrepreneurship. I believe creativity comes in many forms through words, problem-solving, strategy, and expression and I bring that mindset into my tutoring style every day. Outside of work and teaching, I enjoy writing, exploring new ideas, and spending time with my two cats, who are truly the best companions. My goal as a tutor is to make learning feel exciting, achievable, and empowering helping students develop real skills and real confidence that carry them far beyond the classroom.

As a tutor, I, Kayleana, believe every student learns best when they feel confident, supported, and understood. My approach is patient, structured, and flexible allowing students to learn at a pace that matches their classroom expectations while honoring their individual needs and strengths.
A typical writing session with me begins with a quick warm-up to activate language skills, followed by guided practice based on grade-level curriculum, class assignments, or skill areas the student needs support in. We break writing into small, manageable parts — brainstorming, sentence building, punctuation, structure, and creativity — so students never feel overwhelmed. I prioritize practice through fun exercises, real examples, and positive reinforcement, helping each learner stay engaged and motivated.
I specialize in teaching children with ADHD, autism, or students who may struggle with focus, using movement breaks, redirection, creative prompts, and high-interest content to make learning accessible and enjoyable. What sets me apart is my experience not only in tutoring, but also from six years of professional nannying, which has given me strong communication skills, emotional awareness, and a natural ability to connect with kids of all personalities and learning styles.
My lessons are best suited for elementary through middle-school students who need support in writing, reading comprehension, grammar, essay practice, and overall language development. Whether a child needs grade-level reinforcement or simply needs someone to make writing feel fun again, my goal is to help them grow academically while feeling proud of what they can achieve.
