About Mortus
I'm a computer science engineer currently studying at TU Munich. Alongside my studies I work as a developer — most recently I built and deployed the web interface for a data-exchange connector running in a live European mobility data infrastructure, using React and Docker.
I started tutoring because of how much difference a single good explanation can make. During my own studies I kept finding that the material wasn't really difficult, just badly explained — so I began writing my own summaries and guides for subjects like Operating Systems and Functional Programming. Friends started asking for copies, and teaching grew out of that.
I'm patient, I don't rush, and I've never made anyone feel slow for asking the same question twice. French is my mother tongue and I speak German and English fluently, so lessons can happen in whichever language you feel most comfortable in.

I'm a Computer Science engineer, currently studying at TU Munich, and I teach Maths, Programming and Computer Science to school students and university students alike.
My lessons start by finding out where the gap actually is, rather than working through a textbook from page one. We then work through problems together until the method feels automatic. I explain the reasoning behind each step instead of just the solution, because understanding why is what survives exam pressure.
I adapt to the level: school maths up to Abitur, first-year university maths, and programming in Java, Python and C. For CS students at TUM I also cover Operating Systems, Functional Programming and Theoretical Computer Science — subjects I have taken and passed myself, so I know exactly where the marks are lost.
French is my mother tongue, and I also teach in German and English, so we can work in whichever language you're most comfortable in. Lessons are available online or in person in Munich, including evenings and weekends.
