I am a Computer Science graduate from Florida State University with a passion for problem-solving and analysis. My teaching experience includes being a teaching assistant in high school for history students and at Florida State University, where I assisted both technical and non-technical students in simplifying complex problems for better solutions. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, discovering new recipes online, and cooking.

About the lesson

As a tutor with a passion for problem-solving and active listening, my approach is student-centered and interactive. I use a blend of project-based and inquiry-based learning methods to engage students in real-world problems, encouraging them to think critically and creatively. My techniques include scaffolding to support students at different learning stages, peer teaching for collaborative learning, and the use of technology to enhance understanding.

A typical lesson plan begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by an introduction to new concepts through hands-on activities and problem-solving exercises. We then move on to a collaborative discussion where students can ask questions and share insights, ending with a summary and a set of practice problems for reinforcement.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my dedication to fostering a deep understanding of concepts rather than rote memorization. I tailor my lessons to each student's needs, ensuring that they not only grasp the material but also develop a genuine interest in it.
