I am a believer in the rigorousness of education, as I think, the more you understand, the less you will have to remember. It is crucial to understand a concept deeply, conceptualise it, and see the intuition behind knowledge. Mathematics is founded on rigour and logic, but very seldom is the intuition taught, and I believe intuition, motivation and rigour are all equally important.
