About Alana
Hi! I’m Alana, an incoming senior who absolutely loves math. I love how math builds off itself and connects like a puzzle — every piece fits together, and when it finally clicks, it just makes sense. I know math doesn’t always feel that way for everyone, so I love helping it make sense for other people too. I enjoy breaking things down in a way that’s clear and easy to understand, so my students feel confident instead of stuck. Besides math, I love to travel — my favorite place I’ve been so far is Iceland. It was so beautiful and really opened my eyes to how much of the world there is to see. I also enjoy helping people however I can, whether it’s tutoring, giving advice, or just being there when someone needs me. And when I’m not solving math problems, you’ll probably find me reading — books are like movies in word form, and I love getting lost in all kinds of stories.
