About Nathaniel
I grew up writing stories from the age of 6 or 7. By the time I hit high school I was an avid reader and by the time I graduated I had already written three novel-length works.
While in undergrad I studied English Literature with an emphasis in Creative Writing. Among other activities, I tutored honor students in writing and eventually graduated with University Honors myself. While in undergrad my studies took me to Oxford University in the UK for a term, where writing multiple research essays a week was the name of the game.
By a year out of undergrad I became a published poet.
Fast-forward and now two plays that I cowrote were produced within the last year and change.
I am adept at writing and at teaching, but more importantly I am passionate about words and about the written word.
I would love to share my passion with you!

I use a combination of thoughtful questions and occasional, brief instruction to get students thinking out of the box, expand their view of the craft, and take their writing to the next level. I am a tutor, a coach, an encourager that you can do it and you have what it takes.
I can join you anywhere you are at in the process - whether coming up with ideas for writing projects, or jumping in to help guide in the final editting stages, I will help you sharpen your skills as a writer and become more confident in your ability to write - whether for assignments or to execute your creative dreams.
I work primarily with high school or undergraduate students.
