About Kasey
I am a dedicated and approachable tutor passionate about helping students reach their potential. I’ve developed strong skills in explaining complex ideas in a way that’s clear, relatable, and easy to understand.
I was a high-achieving individual, but someone who didn't always love asking questions in front of a whole class. I know how valuable it can be to have one-on-one lessons, with someone who doesn't make you feel silly for asking any type of question.
Learning should build confidence, not stress. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering the “why” behind every answer. Whether you’re aiming to boost your grades, prepare for exams, or simply gain a better understanding of a subject.
I started tutoring because I understand how to get the most out of studying, and how beneficial it is to have someone who’s patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your success. Seeing anyone improve their understanding and achieve beyond what thal.ey think they could have is a really rewarding process for the individual.

I offer engaging lessons, understanding that each individual will have a specific combination of learning styles to help them retain and understand content.
My approach will be built on with the individual, but can include varying techniques, such as step-by-step, active recall, guided questioning, real-life applications, visual learning tools (mind maps, diagrams, graphics), error analysis and practice-based learning.
I believe it's really important to learn how to understand what a question is asking of you, and how you will get the marks with the relevant information, so I will always teach with this philosophy.
Lessons: 60 - 90 minutes (flexible) – includes review, main topic, practice, and feedback.
For: Years 7-12.
ATAR subjects of Economics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth and Environmental Science.
Experience: University student in Marine & Coastal Science + Economics with tutoring experience for Years 7–12. Achieved a 95.35 ATAR, studied a heavy workload, so I have excellent study methods
