About Nicholas
Math can be challenging, but with the right support, it becomes a subject you can master with confidence. I’ve always had a strong interest in problem-solving and logical thinking—skills that are central to success in mathematics. What sets me apart is my focus on understanding how and why things work in math, not just getting the right answer. I’ve worked with high school students across a range of abilities and know how to explain concepts in a clear, practical way that makes sense. I take tutoring seriously and always aim to create a calm, encouraging learning environment. Whether you're aiming to improve your results, prepare for exams, or just feel more confident in class, I’ll work with you to build strong habits and clear strategies that lead to real improvement.

My one-hour maths lessons are focused on developing problem-solving skills and understanding how to approach the types of questions that commonly appear in tests and exams. I don’t just teach formulas—I help students learn how to apply them in context, break down complex problems, and recognise patterns in the way questions are asked.
My approach is clear, methodical, and designed to build confidence. I adapt each session to the student’s needs, whether that means revisiting core concepts, targeting specific topics, or working through past papers together.
I'm currently studying Law and Economics at the University of Adelaide, where strong analytical and mathematical reasoning is essential. I’ve supported high school students across Years 7–12, helping them not only improve their grades but also their approach to tackling unfamiliar or difficult questions.
My goal is to help students feel prepared, capable, and confident going into assessments.
