About Alayna
I am a freshman in college, and I truly love art. I took AP (advanced placement) studio art my senior year of high school and received full college credit for the class. During high school, I took every art class that was available to me. From ceramics to painting to drawing. I received the art graduation cord, and I was a top 5 finalist for the art sterling scholar award.
I believe that anyone can be an artist if they put the work in to develop their skills. I am here to make developing those beginning skills a little easier and make the art world seem a little less daunting.
I will believe in you through every step of your artistic journey, and I understand the struggle it can be to develop the basic skills. But once you develop those skills art truly becomes a wonderful way to express yourself and connect with others. Whether it's a passion or a hobby, I know I'm the perfect tutor for you and I would love to guide you on your journey.

As your tutor I will teach you the basics of art and different practices you can incorporate into your daily routine to help improve your artistic eye. I want to first learn where you are at as an artist and then go from there. I want to see your artistic ability and see in what ways we can improve to make you a more confident artist.
The best way to improve your ability to draw, paint, and/or sculpt is to learn and build on the basics. As a tutor I will teach you how to draw, paint, or sculpt and I will meet you at the skill level you are at. I will tutor you online or meet you in person and I will provide you with different practices to do to improve your specific skills.
These lessons are for beginners and intermediate artists interested in improving their skills through painting, drawing, or hand building sculpture. I will also provide constructive criticism to truly develop your skills and we will find out your artistic passions together.
