About Isabelle

As a dedicated student and tutor, I bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and a passion When it comes to writing techniques and skills. With a solid academic background and experience in tutoring, I am and continue to be committed to empowering you to reach your full potential. I hold an associates degree in the arts and sciences and am about to complete my bachelors degree in Philosophy before going to Law School. Education is the most important thing to me and it shows during tutoring sessions.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is interactive and student centered. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging in discussions. The techniques I use include real life examples, and write and review and practice questions.

My typical lesson plan begins with a brief review of previous concepts to help reinforce the learning, as well as to gauge where the student is academically. Next in the lesson plan we delve into current topics and work and break it down into manageable sections. Then through a guided process we will go through and review the work done. The end of the lesson plan is a recap of what we previously knew and what we learned.

What sets me apart as a tutor is that I have a passion for writing and it is something I excel in. As a honors philosophy student, I spend a lot of time reading, writing, and reviewing. I prioritize helping others learn the skills they need so they too will excel now and later in life.

The lessons are suitable for students of all levels, from elementary to advanced. Whether you’re preparing for standardized testing, needing to tackle challenging homework, or just looking to broaden your knowledge of writing, I am here to help!
