About Trini
My mission as a music teacher is to not only guide my students to grow musically, but as well an artist. Music in our society is so important, it’s an outlet for so many people. And I teach my students how to do that with their music and personalities.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that vocal development is both technical
and personal. Singing is more than producing sound; it is emotional expression, storytelling, and
connection. My own experiences as a singer have shaped how I approach teaching. I learned that
vocal growth is closely connected to mindset, and once my confidence improved, my vocal
expression strengthened as well. Because of this, I strive to help students build both healthy
technique and confidence in their artistic voice. A healthy voice provides the foundation for
expressive and sustainable singing across genres such as R&B, gospel, and musical theater. My
teaching emphasizes breath support, efficient phonation, balanced registration, and vocal health
in ways that are practical and easy for students to understand.
Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment is central to my teaching
philosophy. Every student deserves to feel respected, encouraged, and safe in the learning space,
regardless of background or experience level. Because students learn differently, I adapt my
instruction using demonstrations, imagery, technical explanations, and movement-based
exercises. I aim to create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable taking risks, expressing
themselves, and learning from mistakes. I believe confidence grows through encouragement,
honest feedback, and consistent progress.
Ultimately, my goal is to develop singers who are technically healthy, emotionally
expressive, and confident in their abilities. Through supportive guidance and intentional
instruction, I hope to inspire students to value their voices and pursue growth with discipline,
creativity, and authenticity
