About Gwen
Hi! I'm a student at Curtin University and I am currently in my second year of studying Fine Art. I have tutored a handful of high school students in art, where I've taught them new techniques and perspectives, but of course am still on my way to learning as to how I can be the best teacher I possibly can. I began offering my services midway through 2020. My students have been very pleased with my teaching methodology and the results they've received through it. I am really passionate about people and am studying to become an art teacher/professor in the future. I look forward to teaching you!

As a young artist myself I understand how difficult approaching art can be, especially when it comes to facing new mediums. I believe in creating a relaxed, positive environment for my students to feel comfortable in. In past lessons the student and I would go through the pieces they were currently completing for school assignments, but I am also happy to discuss with the student on what they want to improve on and arrange lesson plans and exercises to suit their needs.

Details
- Travel charge is free within a 10km radius of Wattle Grove. There will be a travel fee of $7.50 for locations from 10-15km from Wattle Grove, and an additional $5 on top of that for each additional 5km.
- A cancellation fee of the lesson price ($27.50 in person and $25 online) will be applied if the student does not provide notice 6 hours prior to the start of the lesson
