About Trisha
Hello! My name is Trisha, and I'm a college freshman. I have been tutoring English for elementary and middle schoolers since 2021. English has always been my favorite school subject. I've been on the honor roll throughout high school, and I have received top grades in my English classes along with multiple awards and top exam scores. My goal is to make sure that students feel confident in their reading, writing, and spelling skills, as these are crucial throughout their education and eventual move into the workforce. I want to empower students to be self-guided and passionate about deeply learning and mastering a subject.

I take an empathetic and learning-focused approach to my tutoring. Rather than only prioritizing grades (though very important), I make sure that students are truly learning the concepts. I believe that with a comprehensive foundation and good knowledge of the subject, good grades come naturally. I try to incorporate the student's interests into the lessons to increase engagement and learning. I generally start with an assessment to gauge the student's strengths and weaknesses, then I make lessons to first tackle their weaknesses. I generally tutor elementary and middle school students for English, but I can tutor students up to the 10th grade.
