About Declan
I have a 2:1 degree in Philosophy and am currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Law (postgraduate). I am working toward my Legal Practice Course to become a solicitor. I have plenty of management experience and have managed projects and provided professional training. I also have a good range of GCSE’s and A-Levels.

My teaching method begins with my own responsibility to be fully prepared for the session to ensure I am able to teach to a high standard. My process of teaching revolves around student performance, meaning my job is not complete until I am confident the student fully understands the subject matter and can demonstrate their knowledge precisely and effectively at the time of teaching and thereafter. Retention of information is the most important aspect of education when examinations are used as assessments. I pride myself in being flexible in my approach to different students with different abilities and therefore it is vital to change techniques to ensure information relating to the subject is absorbed and retained. Finally, student feedback is crucial. The student is the centre of the tutoring and therefore satisfaction and confidence in my approach is paramount.
