About Kate

I am an experienced ESL tutor with 11 years of teaching high school and college students, passionate about helping learners achieve fluency, confidence, and academic success. My approach is student-centred and personalised, focusing on each learner’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals.

I combine grammar and vocabulary instruction with reading, writing, speaking, and listening exercises, supplemented by real-life examples and interactive practice. I create a supportive and encouraging environment that motivates students to actively participate, ask questions, and develop their English skills confidently.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology follows the C³P framework: Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is fostered through storytelling, role-playing, and project-based exercises that inspire students to experiment with language and express ideas freely.

Communication is emphasised through discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises that improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
