About Marilee

Teaching guitar started as a side project that I never expected to become my main career. Most of my students arrive here convinced they are bad at music when they really just need a different approach.

I have taught 384 students to date. My lessons cover music theory and reading sheet music along with tuning and maintenance for your instrument.

We will tackle power chords and rhythm guitar until they feel natural. Improvisation and soloing become easier with ear training and fingerpicking practice. I keep things plain.

About the lesson

Strings hum under your fingers as we identify the core of your sound. I provide free chord charts and tab sheets after each class to keep your practice on track. You will learn the mechanics of your instrument without unnecessary fluff. It is honest work.

We move through concepts efficiently so you spend more time playing and less time listening to me talk. Send me a message if you want to get started.
