About Zoey

Hi, I’m Zoey!
I am a Master of Arts in Teaching Chinese as Second Language and Applied Linguistics. After graduation, I taught at different universities and a variety of language academies in Japan, Germany and Taiwan in addition to being a private tutor.

Overall, I've spent 5 years teaching students from different countries, cultural backgrounds, levels of proficiency and age groups.

I have learned several languages such as Japanese, German and Italian. So I understand that mastering a new language can be really fun but also really frustrating!

About the lesson

Busy during the workweek but want to get more Chinese practice？ If you know that your Chinese pronunciation, oral speaking or Chinese grammar needs some work and you are keen to improve it, you are in the right place!

Perhaps you want to communicate more clearly？ Maybe you're tired of having to repeat yourself or simply want to feel more confident when speaking Chinese？ These are all good reasons for starting the lessons.

During the classes, we will have lots of practical work, so you will learn how to behave appropriately in any real-life situation. In other words, you'll be able to cope with whatever life throws at you in Mandarin.

1. Please note that classes are taught to ADULTS ONLY (18 years old and older).
2. Lesson requests from parents who are looking for a tutor for their underage children will NOT be considered.
3. Classes are conducted EXCLUSIVELY ONLINE via Meet or Zoom.
4. The duration of a free introductory class is approximately 30 minutes, so we will have enough time to discuss any questions you may have.
5. The duration of any type of class is 55min. Please note that if you’d like your results to be noticeable and significant, it is recommended to have at least 2 classes per week.
