Huw is a very talented teacher with a strong track record in history teaching. I worked alongside him for a number of years and I was immensely impressed with his historical knowledge, love of the subject and his ability to get that across to his students. I would highly recommend him as a tutor as he has an excellent understanding of both GCSE and A level history syllabuses and was a popular and respected colleague among staff and students during his time at my school. I worked with Huw for many years. He was Head of Humanities, I was a teacher of History. I felt fortunate to be working with Huw. He led me patiently through History content and marking of pupils' work, so much so that I went from teaching year 7 and 8 pupils to teaching GCSE and supporting A Level. Huw was always willing to give his time, encourage, and guide me with his excellent knowledge and advice. If I had to choose someone to teach my children, it would be Huw.

It was a pleasure knowing you/Huw and communicating in the staffroom & corridors of power... My football/goalkeeper coaching (and maths) was better than yours, everything else... No contest!
Seriously though, I would thoroughly recommend Mr Clayton as a knowledgeable, engaging and professional teacher. History is a difficult subject to deliver (as is maths) but Huw delivers the subject so well.
