About Cody

I am a passionate ESL tutor with 12 years of teaching experience and a strong commitment to helping High School and College students achieve their English learning goals. During my teaching career, I have successfully guided around 150 students while building their confidence in speaking, writing, reading, and listening.

My teaching philosophy focuses on creating lessons that are simple, interactive, and meaningful. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods according to individual needs and learning styles. I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing using practical activities, engaging discussions, and real-life communication.

I believe confidence grows through encouragement and continuous practice. My classroom is welcoming and supportive, allowing students to ask questions freely and improve without fear of making mistakes. I provide regular progress evaluations and personalized feedback to ensure every learner continues moving forward.

Helping students improve examination scores, communication skills, and overall confidence has been one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey. Besides ESL, I also teach Spoken English, English Grammar, Academic Writing, Reading Skills, Vocabulary Building, and Communication Skills. My mission is to make learning English enjoyable while preparing students for future success.

About the lesson

My teaching approach encourages students to see English as a practical tool for communication rather than simply a school subject. By combining flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration, I create meaningful lessons that help students build confidence while improving every language skill.

I design lessons after understanding each student's strengths, interests, and future goals. Activities improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing while encouraging students to apply English in real-world situations.

Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons according to learning speed and personal objectives. Whether students need support with academic English, workplace communication, or everyday conversation, I personalize every session accordingly.

Empathy and compassion help me create a positive atmosphere where students enjoy learning and feel comfortable making mistakes. I provide supportive feedback, recognize every improvement, and motivate students to continue growing.

Communication is practiced through role-playing, presentations, discussions, storytelling, and collaborative activities that increase fluency, confidence, and practical language skills.

Besides ESL, I also teach English Grammar, Spoken English, Academic English, Business English, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, Vocabulary Building, Communication Skills, English Literature, and Presentation Skills. My objective is to help students become lifelong English learners.
