About Joseph
I have been tutoring since I was 16 years old, which was roughly 7 years ago. I began with teaching guitar lessons as well as lessons in general music theory, which gave me hands-on experience with teaching a wide range of age groups. Over time, I have developed a great passion for economics and math, that of which I am eager to spread to others that share similar interests. Whether the goal is to simply pass a test or become a better overall economist, I would love nothing more than to be a part of the journey.

I have a passion for teaching students in a way that tailors each lesson to their specific needs, addressing their points of confusion while utilizing their strengths to overcome those obstacles. I begin lesson planning well before the actual lesson, ensuring the student's particular needs are fresh on my mind come lesson time. I believe this is the key to a good tutor, as a generalized lesson that fails to cater to a student's current obstacles only further confuses many of them.
My lessons are aimed at a range of students ranging from middle/high school to college-level economics and math courses, particularly introductory and intermediate level classes that one would take in their second or third year of university education.
