About Rebecca
Hi! My name is Rebecca and I am a student in University College Dublin. I completed my leaving certificate in 2024, and have continued learning since. I study Economics and Finance, which is a lot more maths-focused than you may think! I have studied/am currently studying modules in analysis, advanced calculus, probability, differential equations and more. I am an extremely organized and hard-working individual with a genuine passion for maths! I often help my younger siblings and cousins out with their maths problems and in the past my friends have always come to me to help them with maths. I understand that sometimes maths may not be a person's strongest subject, but I believe that with careful explanation and lots of practice, anyone can feel confident in their own maths ability!

Typically I offer lessons with a duration of 1 hour or 2 hours, either in person or online. My lessons are perfect for anyone struggling with maths in any secondary school year. I tailor each class to the specific student and their needs. I could teach the very basics and work up from there, offer a deeper understanding of topics with notes and examples, or, I can aid students in their final preparations for their examinations with exam-focused material. Each lesson is typically focused on one specific topic in the course. I ensure the student has a deep understanding of the theory and can apply that to examples. Towards the end, if the student is comfortable to, I challenge them with trickier exam questions.
