About Natalie

I'm offering catch-up, revision and exam-style sessions to help students gain increased confidence in their learning, now taking bookings for the 2026-27 academic year. I'm a BSc Economics and International Development First-class graduate with six years of tutoring experience, with high success rates, helping students reach their potential. I focus on motivation, memory retention and developing students' academic skills. I have a strong passion for the subject and relevant areas. I believe over the years I have gathered several tips for revising and knowledge recall as well as good organisational methods and how to be methodological when it comes to studying. I have experience and have covered various specifications: AQA (exam board I did myself) Edexcel, OCR, IB and Eduqas. I tailor sessions to the individual's exam board and ensure that all information is both covered and understood to a high standard.

About the lesson

My teaching method will be virtual, all lessons are bespoke for individual needs and pace. I will tailor different programmes and focus on topic areas where students feel as though they are struggling using resources put together by myself to ensure my students are thoroughly prepared and have access to all content needed to help you succeed. I have had experience tutoring students of all ages for a range of subjects. I have supported undergraduate students; university applicants with advice on personal statements. I have also worked with students studying for their A-Levels/GCSEs. Additionally, I also have experience working with younger students in primary school in KS2, preparing them for SATs, CATs and 11+ exams, all whilst boosting their general confidence. I am up to date and familiar with various UK exam boards including AQA, Edexcel A, OCR. As well as international exam boards including IGCSE and IB. I create preparation, revision and/or content plans with my students and change them as often as we feel necessary. I have helped students to approach the subject with a positive mindset and looking at various theories from different perspectives, particularly when either individual needs or pace are not always being met in the classroom. My main goal is helping students gain confidence and change their own self-perceptions to ensure not only a long-term academic success but also a personal one.
