About Kyle

Hi! My name is Kyle, and I’m currently an education student with a passion for learning, writing, music, and creativity.

I’ve spent the past six years working in education, primarily in special education, but also in general education settings. I’ve had the opportunity to work with students from a variety of backgrounds and with different learning needs. Education has become an important part of my life, and I’m continuing my own journey toward becoming a teacher.

Outside of education, I’m a husband and a proud dad of two kids. My family means the world to me, and much of my life revolves around spending time with my wife and children.

I’ve always loved music and creativity. I play both guitar and bass, and I enjoy writing my own music. Writing has become another major passion of mine. I’m currently working on two books, as well as developing a podcast. I enjoy taking ideas and turning them into something meaningful, whether that's through a story, a song, a conversation, or simply putting words on a page.

I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things and sharing the things I’m passionate about with others. I believe there is always something new to discover, and I enjoy helping people find their own interests and strengths along the way.

When I’m not working, studying, writing, or making music, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my family. They are my biggest motivation and one of the things I’m most proud of.

About the lesson

My goal as a tutor is to make English and writing feel less overwhelming and more approachable. As an education student with six years of experience working with students in special education and general education settings, I understand that every student learns differently. I take the time to get to know each student, identify their strengths and areas for growth, and adjust my teaching style to meet their individual needs.

My lessons are personalized and focused on building both skills and confidence. Depending on the student, we may work on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, essay writing, organization, proofreading, or developing ideas. I believe in breaking larger assignments into smaller, manageable steps so students can understand not only what they need to do, but why they are doing it.

A typical lesson begins by reviewing what the student is currently working on and identifying the area where they need the most support. From there, we will work through examples together, practice the skill, and gradually allow the student to take the lead. I provide guidance and feedback throughout the lesson while encouraging students to become more independent and confident in their own abilities.

What sets me apart is my experience working with students with a wide range of learning styles and needs. My background in special education has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, clear communication, and meeting students where they are. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to learning.

My lessons are ideal for elementary, middle, and high school students who need extra support with English, writing, grammar, reading comprehension, essays, or school assignments. Whether a student needs help understanding the basics, improving a writing assignment, preparing for a class, or simply gaining confidence, I want my lessons to be a place where they feel supported and capable of succeeding.
