Rapport building is instrumental to student success. As a tutor, I will get to know you and your interests. I will work to find a way to incorporate your interests into our lessons. Flexibility is important. I will ensure that I adjust my pacing so that we are ALWAYS moving at a pace that you are comfortable with at ALL times. Optimism is also key. I will always work to ensure we frame things positively whenever something is challenging and aim to be solution-oriented. If one strategy doesn't work, there is always another!
