About Owen
I was a volunteer tutor for my classmates in high school my Junior and Senior year. I taught math of varying levels and difficulties. I now have developed even more teaching experience by working as a teaching assistant over the summer. I am confident teaching not only pure math but also science fields like physics and basic chemistry. I also am fluent in Spanish and could provide lessons in that as well.

I offer a lead by example approach teaching method that allows students to learn from their mistakes. A typical lesson plan will start with me assessing the content the student is trying to learn, preparing introductory instruction, showing example problems and having the student jump into working out some problems on their own. As a current student in STEM, I still have the learning process fresh in my mind and I know what teachers are looking for from their students on exams and homework.
