About Elena

I am a dedicated Vocal Coach & Music Educator with 7 years of professional experience in the US music scene. I hold a Master of Music in Vocal Performance & have spent years refining my craft as a live performer & private instructor. My journey began in local choirs & evolved into a career where I have had the privilege of guiding K-12 students & first-year undergraduates toward their musical goals. I am passionate about making music accessible & believe that a strong foundation in Music Theory is the key to unlocking true vocal freedom.

Throughout my career, I have been honored with the Silver Lyre Award for Excellence in Music Education & the Community Harmony Medal for my work in youth choir development. These accolades reflect my commitment to high-quality instruction & my ability to inspire students of all ages. My lessons are conducted entirely online, providing a convenient yet high-energy atmosphere that mirrors an in-person studio experience. I pride myself on staying current with modern vocal pedagogy to offer my students the most effective & healthy techniques available today.

Outside of the virtual classroom, I enjoy attending jazz festivals, practicing yoga to maintain breath control, & volunteering for local arts initiatives. I am an avid collector of vintage sheet music & love exploring the intersection of classical training & modern pop. About the lesson

In our one-to-one live sessions, we will dive deep into the mechanics of your voice while exploring the genres you love most. My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that everyone has a unique resonance waiting to be discovered through proper breath support & vocal placement. We will begin each lesson with tailored warm-ups designed to expand your range & improve agility, followed by technical exercises focused on Music Theory & Sight-Reading. Whether you are preparing for a Choir audition, practicing for a solo performance, or simply want to improve your pitch, I provide a supportive environment where you can experiment safely.

We will also explore the creative side of music through Songwriting & Music Education principles. For my high school & college students, I emphasize the importance of healthy vocal habits to ensure longevity & power without strain. We can integrate Piano accompaniment into our sessions to help you understand harmony & melody from a foundational perspective. By breaking down complex musical phrases, I make learning Music Theory approachable & fun, ensuring you not only sing well but also understand the "why" behind the notes.

As we progress, we will focus on performance techniques & emotional expression. Singing is more than just hitting the right notes; it is about storytelling & connecting with your audience. I offer specialized coaching for those interested in contemporary styles, classical foundations, or musical theater. Each lesson is structured to build your confidence, helping you overcome stage fright while mastering difficult intervals & rhythmic patterns. I am committed to helping you find your authentic voice through a curriculum that is as unique as you are.

Furthermore, I prepare students for various certifications & competitive platforms. From learning how to read complex scores to understanding the nuances of different musical eras, our lessons cover the full spectrum of Music Education. I provide digital resources, including backing tracks & sheet music, to support your practice between our live meetings. My goal is to transform your passion for singing into a technical skill set that allows you to perform with precision, grace, & a profound sense of musicality.
