About Moksha
About Me
Hello there! I'm Moksha, a Computer Science Engineering major pursuing my education. Ever since I was a little kid, I have always found Mathematics and Physics intriguing and exciting; I've never treated equations and formulas as mere facts to remember but as puzzles to solve.
It is also true that teaching is in my blood as I belong to a family of teachers who have inspired their students over years by sharing their knowledge. As a result, I am quite passionate about practical and concept-oriented learning rather than rote learning. All you need is to understand why and how things work and not memorize the entire textbook. Once you know why something works, it stops being boring and starts becoming enjoyable.
As a tutor, I don't focus on helping my students secure good marks only for the next test but for building such a robust foundation that the subject would make sense for them once they leave the exam room and become self-sufficient learners. If you're seeking the same, then feel free to contact me.

I believe Maths and Physics make sense once you stop memorizing formulas and start understanding why they work. As a Computer Science engineering student I use a logical, step-by-step approach to break down Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry into concepts that actually click, rather than rules to memorize.
To begin with, I always try to figure out the exact point where the student finds himself in difficulty, rather than teach him the whole subject from the scratch.
In case of Geometry and Trigonometry, I employ graphical teaching methods and relate the concepts to practical life examples, which makes learning easier for the student.
In case of Physics and Algebra, I concentrate on relating the formula with its logical explanation, so that the student would be able to use the concept in a new situation.
Every session includes a problem-solving practice component.
