About Melanie

I am a third-year engineer student who loves math. This is my first time applying for tutoring, but have helped friends and family members with math classes. I really enjoy helping people learn and understand hard subjects. Excited to teach!

About the lesson

My teaching method is to work through problems step by step until we can understand them fully and comprehend all the necessary skills for the problems we have been given. Going back over notes and old homework will be helpful.

Perfect! She really helped me talk through problems and helped me fill in the gaps that my professor left. She didn't just tell me the answer; she helped me find it and understand why it was the answer. She is very sweet and fun to work with!

Calculus is sometimes hard when the teacher talks quickly. Emma understands things better when we go over the notes again and look at them step by step. Reviewing notes and talking through each step has been great. Emma is awesome to work with!
