About Heidi

Hello! My name is Heidi Yang and I am from beautiful China. I was born in Chongqing, China, a southern city known for its warmth and hot pot. I am currently living in Xi'an, China, a civilized city with over 3,000 years of history.
I am also a Chinese teacher with a Bachelor of Literature degree. I have three years of teaching experience from elementary to secondary school and enjoy organizing my online Chinese courses according to each student's learning goals, as well as being very welcoming to Chinese language lovers of all ages. I cherish the interaction with each of my students, and my teaching implements the Confucian doctrine of "teaching to the students according to their abilities" and Cheng Zhu's philosophy of "learning by doing". If you want to learn more about Chinese culture, I will prepare a course for you to learn more about traditional Chinese culture and art.
In addition, I like taking pictures, recording videos, cooking, psychology, beauty and skin care, etc. I believe that my diverse hobbies will allow us to never run out of interesting topics to talk about in the Chinese classroom. Whether you're preparing for the HSK or everyday Chinese conversation, I'm happy to be your Chinese teacher and help you achieve your language goals!
