About Marissa

My classes will adapt to the student's needs and goals. If the student wants to improve their oral communication, we will give more focus on conversation, if the student wants writing and reading classes we will give more focus on a grammatical basis. I have a TEFL (Teach English as Foreign Language) certification which certifies me to be able to teach English. One of my benefits is having English as a native language which benefits my students understanding when entering into conversations with foreigners.

About the lesson

My name is Marissa, I am an American and I have lived in Brazil for six years. I am good with languages and I am able to teach you grammar, rules of writing, as well as help to make your conversation skills more fluent. I have been teaching for more than five years and I am well used to the dynamics of distance learning.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.

Perfect! Marissa is the best teacher ever! She is really thoughtful and concerned about our learning. She adapts the classes accordingly to our needs and she is a great person, with nice opinions. It is easy to practice conversation with her. She is also very professional, always on time for the classes and it was easy to contact whenever we needed her.

Perfect!

Super recomendo a Marissa! Ela é pontual, muito dedicada e sempre disposta a ajudar. Minha fluidez no idioma e o entendimento quando falo com um estrangeiro melhoraram muito depois que passei a ter aulas com ela. Nota 10!
