About Jay

Hello. I’m from the UK and have been tutoring English for over 5 years now. In that time I’ve helped over 300 students master English as a foreign language.

I was brought up speaking Spanish too, and also learned Portuguese and French. That means I know what it’s like to learn a foreign language, and that empathy makes me a great teacher. I understand what you’re going through trying to learn English.

I studied Foreign Languages at university and have visited 55 countries. When I’m not teaching, I work as a writer and translator. I write marketing content and focus on the travel industry.

My hobbies include cycling, the gym and learning languages.
