About Gracie
I am an English and Philosophy student at Royal Holloway University, and I would love to progress onto a PGCE in the future and become an English teacher. I am happy to teach English Literature at any age and English Language up to and including GCSE and can adapt my teaching style. Also can tutor in Spelling and Grammar SAT and Literacy in general. I have undertaken work experience in a primary school, helped improve literacy skills in underperforming Year 7s and have been an academic mentor to Year 12 also, which adds to my versatile experience and shows my enthusiasm! I love English and teaching it and helping others are passions of mine.

I believe that every student has different talents and would like to take advantage of everyone having to do the same English exams and not limiting what I teach them. Everyone's brains work differently, so they might understand something more difficult that will help them achieve a passing grade, so I will encourage that, as well as fine-tuning the basics. I can offer broader lessons on techniques or spelling or literacy in general, or alternatively on a specific text or question type in their exams. I am adaptable in my teaching style and hope to not only make students pass but to also enjoy English more!
