About Georgie
Hello, I'm a qualified teacher with over 10 years of experience working within the UK primary education sector.
I am passionate about building positive relationships with learners and tailoring my teaching approach to suit each individual's unique learning style. I believe that confidence and trust are the foundations of successful learning, and I work hard to create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable, capable, and motivated.
As a neurodivergent educator, I understand that traditional teaching methods do not work for every child. I recognise the importance of flexibility, patience, and openness when supporting learners, particularly those who may benefit from alternative approaches. My tutoring sessions are designed to meet each child where they are and help them progress at a pace that works for them.

All lessons and tutoring adapted to the needs of the learner. I have a strong knowledge of all areas of the primary curriculum, with 10 years of experience from Early Years up to Year 6.
English is my passion, and I have a degree in English Literature and a Master's in Modernism and Contemporary literature, which informs my tutoring of KS3 and 4 learners.
Lessons can be 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the needs and preferences of the learner.
I have strong experience and background in working with students with SEND and ADHD.
